Would you kill a baby if it would save the world?

Say the baby had an infectious disease, that after a certain amount of time could not be contained by any means whatsoever. In thirty minutes, the disease would begin to spread, quarantine would be of no effect. The disease will spread to the whole earth and everyone in the worl will die a painful death. The only way to kill the virus is to kill the child. You must pry the baby from the arms of its mother and kill it. Would you be able to do it?
