Email from this guy I like? Is he 'disinterested' or is it just my imagination?

We met 2 months ago when I was visiting friends in his country & were inseparable. He invited me back & I invited him. We've been mailing/chatting. So he was trying to find a flight he could afford last week & could not. So I wrote that I have time in a few weeks & want to travel to a few different countries and will come to see him for a week if the date suits. He wrote 'great, the date seems fine'. I replied that I'd booked my flight & am excited about my trip. He wrote back 'are you coming only here or are you travelling like you wanted?' Is it my imagination, or is this giving me a polite brush-off?
