What is this girl up to? She confuses me?

K well basically here is the story, I kind of have a thing for a friend of mine we both went to the same school and we got pretty close. Over this recent summer I kind of admited that I had a feelin for her because my friend told her that I liked her but when she asked me twice in the different occasions if I like her I said no and she told my boy that she never saw me in that way but she still asked me twice. She at the time barely got wit the guy she is wit right now and she seem some what sprung but she would keep on textin me for hours like we normally do. now since i wanted to not lose her I said no to liking her and I decided to seperate for awhile but last night I text her sayin happy new years and she wanted to know where i ve been and stuff and she said she missed me and stuff and to come and dance wit her at some party that she was at but i said i was in another state so i couldnt even though i wanted to. We talked for two hours and we told each other we missed eack other and stuff like that and i should go visit her and hang out. now today she wakes me up wit a text sayin my dude loves me so i didnt know who shes was refferin to me or her man so i kept it safe and said well thats good so from im seeing u two r gettin along and she was yea and then she starts talkin bout him and them how she gonna find someone for me but then i tell her bout this girl im talkin to and how i like her and she is like well becarefull agirl now a days dont show their true colors till after a couple months so she sayin i should be happy but she is sort of dissin her even though she has never met her. So then she keeps on sayin i need to find someone and just love bs and stuff and i tell her i i dont need no one im fine just by myself or messin around wit girl. I cant take it i thought i would but clearly i dont what is she up to what is her goal, she confuses me.
