What does an average / starter graphic designer charge for creating logos / pamphlets / advertisements etc?

It looks like a mean wage for graphic arts (established and full time) is around $20 an hour. (You can Google government wage statistics for more in depth information.) However, this will greatly depend on where you work, and what your exact duties are. The stats I saw recently were not specifically for logo designers, but rather generally for graphics.
