How many car lessons til the test?

My driving instructor told me he has some people who still aren't ready for a test 6months down the line and others who are ready in no time at all. My friend is older than me - and she HAD the same instructor. She kept complaining that he wasn't putting her in for her test so she went with somebody else and guess what? She failed. Don't take this the wrong way but your friend may genuinely be not that good at driving. To book the test he's need his instructor's ID number anyway and permission to use his car for the test.
